How to get Tickets
As the Manly Fast Ferry service is a separate entity to Sydney Ferries we the Sydney Ferries ticketing system or turnstiles. Tickets for the Manly Fast Ferry service can be purchased at our own ticketing booths and can also be purchased onboard. Passengers can choose to use a Manly Fast Ferry Smart Card or buy single tickets in the normal manner.

Our ticket desk will be open at Manly Wharf concourse and at our booth on the main concourse adjacent to Circular Quay wharf No3.

Manly Fast Ferry Smart Card:
We are pleased to introduce the Manly Fast Ferry Smart Card System which passengers should find both convenient and economical. The same Smart Card technology is used successfully around the world and by several large bus companies in Sydney.

The Smart Card is a small plastic card of the same dimensions as a business, credit card or ID. Passengers can load as many credits, in ten-ticket increments, as they choose, then simply scan the plastic card at the wharf to access our ferries, thus streamlining the process and avoiding queuing for tickets. The system is quick, simple to use and eco friendly, as it negates the need for disposable tickets for regular users. We can however issue a paper receipt if required.

In the near future we hope to add the facility to purchase or reload your Manly Fast Ferry Smart Card on-line.

Single Tickets:
Day trippers and passengers who prefer to pay separately for individual trips can, of course, still buy a single ticket for each journey from the ticketing booths.

24 hour tickets Manly-Circular Quay-Darling Harbour:
Day trippers and tourist may wish to purchase our 24 hour day ticket, which is valid for 24 hours from the time of issue, this allows unlimited jump on jump off of our services.
